Hiya Nick.

Firstly, the following is what BOINC is telling me...
SETI@home - 2004-11-01 18:12:23 - Message from server: No work available
(there was work but you don't have enough disk space allocated)
How do I alter the amount of disk space allocated so that it works... And
what's the minimum required ?

What version are you running? You'll need to be running v4.13 which is
available here: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/download.php

Secondly, I want BOINC to be set to work all the time every time I start the
computer... At the moment I have to right click the icon on the task bar and
change it that way - no it makes no difference if I open up BOINC and File>Run
Always...

Copy the shortcut into the Startup folder that sits in the Start Menu.

Thirdly, I've uninstalled the original S@H as I gather it's going to be turned
off... I'm obviously not getting any more workings out done so my stats aren't
going anywhere...:( Should I still be running the old one until I get BOINC
sorted so I can keep my stats going ??

I've done the same. BOINC has been running fine for me for some time now.
