AFIK there is no way to change that.  However - your preferences/account 
settings are already set to run BOINC while computer is in use so it IS 
running all the time anyway.

Thanks, I'd gathered that it was the default, just don't understand why the
option's there if it can't be set... Fine on the default being set anyway, so
why isn't the option grayed out to indicate that it's doing that anyway...
