*sigh* I fear liberals overestimate the Presidency's power... one man or "inside" group can not destroy America, no matter how much his detractors whine and hate him.  Even if a Communist was elected, he couldn't destroy America like liberals say Bush does, because the Communist would have to act within the bounds of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc.

Are you sure that is correct? Voting fraude does not seem to fit in to the constitution. Neither does torturing prisoners of war (oh, sorry: terrorists) telling the rest of the world it is allowed because they do not fall under the terms of the Geneva Convention I would say. What does the constitution say about invading a sovereign nation without reason? (Okay, he wants the oil, but that's not a fair reason.)

Sorry, but the Constitution and the Bill of Rights can easilly be manipulated. (Heck, the party with the most votes can even elect the supreme court judges, if that isn't manipulation I do not know what is.)

Although, Bush could be an alien on a fact-finding mission, researching how many ways humans can be pig-headed and intolerant of opposing views... they could get enough of that by watching our cable nooz broadcasts.

Bush is not an alien, please do not offend all the peace loving aliens out there! (My bet is still on early primate...)

Please don't reply or add to this thread. It's not worth the server space.

Sorry, but I'll decide that for myself.

I know US citicens hate being criticised because they are the best people in the word, have the best democracy (incl. the Constitution), have the most power, etcetera. And I know everyone else saying otherwise (the entire western world that is) is wrong. Just remember: you would not be there at all if not for us. And power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolute.

I do appologize for the offtopic post. This certainly has nothing to do with seti. Luckily this usenet server is not managed by seti, so we are not using their resources :)
