A Christian myself, I have to admit that people like Mister HMO are good for a good laugh or two.  People like HMO Man are almost every single negative stereotype of Christians, rolled into one fire-breathing, Son-of-Thunder  package... a kind of Ned Flanders meets the Church Lady on meth, after watching a marathon of the "700 Club."  Sad, but true.

I know you've already moved on, HMO, but for any trolls thinking about being rebuttalheads, let me say this: I've been called a Nazi German Puppet of Satan for telling crankers like HMO that they're only hurting their case by condemning to Hell over 5 million people who happen to think that "Flying Windows" are a waste of computer energy.  Actually, being called a "Nazi German Puppet of Satan" was something of a highlight in my 18 years of life so far, because it's so dumb that it would never occur to me to lie about it happening.

If you dislike SETI@Home's goals, don't post here. If you want to convert those SETI@Home'rs who aren't Christian, try a more *subtle* and *kind* approach, such actually presenting your argument in a rational manner, instead of doing hit-and-run posts over the Usenet.
