This reminds me of the machine translation problems for "hydraulic ram".
Translating back you can get "water sheep"!

(The famous AI example of old was for English -> Russian -> English.)

IIRC the story goes that "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is
weak," after translation into Russian and back, came out as "The
vodka is good, but the meat is rotten."
