Okay then the problem is that the screen saver version is not
recognizing your 2nd cpu.
I would recommend that you get a hold of the CLI version for your cpu,
what cpu do you have?
Then get a hold of SetiDriver, that will let you run the CLI verion of
Seti with no muss, no fuss. It will also let you specify how many cpus
you have and it will use them all.
SetiDriver is available under the main web page and add-ons here:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/links_addons.html

The CLI version is availaible under main Seti web page, download
Seti@home: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/download.html
then choose the "command line version" and assuming you have a Windows
machine look for this "i386-winnt-cmdline.exe:" and download the file.
Make a directory and download BOTH SetiDriver and the CLI file into
it. Double click on SetiDriver, it will ask you a couple of questions,
put 2 in the "maximum process" box and a 4 in the "desired cache size"
box. The 4 should be a minimum but you could put as many as you want,
but stay reasonable at least at first, maybe 10.
You should be up and crunching no problem.

What version of the program are you using, the screen saver or the
cli(command line interface)?
When you do a ctrl+alt+del and go to performance how many cpu usage
charts do you see? If only 1 then you will have to go into your bios
and enable the HT part of your system. Read the book for how to do
this.
