Then either it isn't sending it to the email address you are currently
using or you have filters in place that is deleting it. It IS sent
everytime you ask it to be sent!

I had to search for David Anderson's e-mail address and ask him to help 
me, which he did (Thanks!), but I want to edit my profile and I can't 
because I don't have the e-mail he sent me anymore (he sent it back in 
April)

What should I do?

Keep better track of important emails? Maybe even copy and paste the
important into files that you then save either on paper or in the "my
documents" folder?
Did you try sending another email to David Anderson?
If you do not have the number and you do not have the same email
address, you have no options! Except you said David Anderson helped
you once before, he could decide to do it again. But that is the ONLY
way you will get the password.
