I have been running the Windows screensaver version of SAH for quite some
time with a 1.5 gHz P4 processor, 512 GB ram and Windows XP.
I just upgraded to a 3.2 gHz P4 processor.
All my other software runs fine and the system is otherwise stable.
However, when SAH home loads, it runs for about 10 seconds and then the
system locks up.
No mouse or keyboard response.
It takes a reset to restart the computer.
Any ideas on the nature of this problem and how to fix it?

One possible explanation might be a heating problem. SETI makes the CPU work harder and thereby become warmer. Check the CPU-fan.
