I  am typing this on a P4/3.2 (Prescott on 875P) that is doing >20 WU/day =
1.143 WU/hr. This box has full load of software - AV, Firewall, fax
software, cookie management, browsers, office, CD emulation, Adobe Suite,
mobo monitoring, ...........

I suspect that you are confusing time for single WU with output/day of the
HT P4, that can effectively process 2WU at the same time.

I have AMD for game box, but the HT P4 does SETI more effectively. I'm

140,000 WU......

Athlon 64 3400 running at 2400 mhz
using 400 DDR will turn a wu in 1.66 hrs,

a P4 3.2 ghz with 400 DDR will turn a
wu in 1.88 hrs.

both processors have 1mb L2 cache.
