I'm running classic on some macs and linuxes. They're on all the time except an old, noisy 400 MHz Pentium, due to the location (bedroom) .

All my attempts to create a script to start the client automatically in a terminal window  at startup in X have turned out to be unsuccesful and starting it manually is both time-consuming _and_ (extremely) humiliating ( I don't claim to be a nerd but not a total looser either).

So, I'm looking for a simple shell script that I could place in the home/ET/.kde/Autosart. It has been done, I know so don't miss this unique opportunity to make someone eternally grateful.
