Disable it long enough to attempt a connection to the SETI@BOINC
server; if the connection works, you need to adjust the settings
on your firewally. If it doesn't, the problem isn't the firewall.
Reactivate it immediately after the test.

It's like that for virtually everyone; most people just don't
realize it's happening. Worms and scans, for the most part.
Ok I did all that and still nada....I have a question what is the
Master File that can't be fetched?
I'd say the problem isn't your firewall. As I haven't switched to
BOINC yet, no idea on the master file.
