Considering the number of people running Boinc and s@h, I'm surprised
that there aren't more 'problems' posts.
Take a look at the E@H forum, lots of issues. Some not trivial.
...Yes, there is Boinc which provides the management framework which
then coordinates various clients including the s@h client and others.
My comment above is in the context of Boinc-s@h.
New clients can be expected to have development issues as can be
expected for any rapid development projects. New Boinc servers to serve
the new clients can be expected to have startup issues also.
For example, s@h seems to have settled down well since the first screams
of pain in the early days from over-expectant early users. Now we just
have a few interruptions while major hardware rearrangements are made to
allow for ever increasing numbers of users joining up with their ever
faster machines.
Looks like the E@H people are going through their own startup curve.
(E@H use their own servers. These are different servers to the s@h
servers at Berkeley.)
And your point?...

Martin
