You only need 1 instance of SetiDriver!
Did you change the max processes number to 2?
What is the problem of having 2 instances of SETIdriver icon appeaering in
systray? Is this causing the stopping-of-seti-processing-activity that I
mentioned in my first post in this thread?
YES IT IS!!! Why not load 2 versions of Windows? How about loading a
cd burner software twice? It is slowing down your machine!!!
**************************************
"open the seti driver folders" : this is in my C:\SETIdriver directory? ---
There are folders numbered 1 thru 4 there.
"stop one instance of SETI Driver (use the exit button) and renumber the
subfolders in the stopped instance so none of its folders conflict with
the
numbering in the other seti driver folder." --- How do I know which
subfolders belong to which stopped instance ?? "renumber" then as what ?
5, 6, 7 ,8 ... etc. ?
Yes exactly 5,6,7,8!
CLOSE one instance of SetiDriver!!!! If you can't figure out which one
is stopped, stop them both! THEN go to that directory and rename
each of the folders 1,2,3,4 so that they are now 5,6,7,8. Copy each of
those folders to the other directory where SetiDriver is located.
SetiDriver itself, all by itself, will renumber the folders when it
finishes crunching the folders. As it need more folders it will come
up with a new number 1 folder, a new number 2 folder, etc. AND it will
delete all the old folders ALL BY ITSELF!!! This is IF you only run
ONE instance of SetiDriver!!!
I think i have more questions, but I will stop here until i have the
preceeding cleared up !
Thanks !!
