I am getting:
BOINC GUI Error
Failed to cleanup the Windows Sockets Interface
So what does that mean and do I need to do anything......oh and if I do
how
do I do it?
Thanks!
Donna
This is the usual result from Windows trying to start BOINC twice at
bootup - you probably have two copies of the BOINC icon in two different
startup folders, ie. the 'all users' account and your own account - have a
look in Windows Explorer / C:\Documents & Settings \ All Users \ Start Menu
\ Programs \ Startup and the same place under your own account name - the
BOINC icon should only be in one startup folder but one version of the BOINC
installer apparently puts them in both...
