There are 2 issues - the use of a corporate computer and also network
bandwidth.
Seti Driver works great if you stop it connecting.
I used to use (prior to moving to boinc) a .bat file to identify the wu
folders with completed units in (numbered automatically by Seti Driver),
then move these to a folder to be taken home and replace them with new wu's
from my thumb drive.
The .bat file just does a DIR command looking for the result files.
Sorry I have since deleted it from my systems as I am now boincing, but it's
easy to write.

Goony,

f/f George and David Woolley are both correct in their assessment of using
SETI on corporate computers. SETI Driver and SETI are both freely
available
for personal use. However, you must get approval from your company,
consider getting it in writing, before you run _ANY_ non-corporate
approved
software on a company PC.

My boss (the company owner) allows me to keep the SETI Driver web site on
our web-server and run SETI on my office PC, but not on the servers.
