Just moving over to 1 ... 3 Climate Prediction work unit(s) would probably allow enough spare time for all of the back end stuff to be done.

Maybe people suspending themselves from the project is what is needed at this point to allow for the upcoming database migration [and the proper granting of credits] to be accomplished.

SETI @ HOME as it is currently designed finds so much 'negadata' that perhaps fewer people need to partisipate.

No! Just the opposite --- there is so much "nega-data" that even _more_ people need to participate inorder to find ET quicker ... fewer people, then forget it, it will take forever! ... we need more people running seti@home ... (of course with set@home getting a pittance (sp?) for funding and resources then with more people nothing would work anyway ... Rats! Seems hopeless doesn't?)

Just hang in there, be patient ...

SETI's alogrythms other uses have not tested either.
