Always a good idea to backup the directory before an upgrade.....just in
case something goes wrong....in which case you can revert back to where you
were without losing any work done.....good insurance!!!

I have been noticing errors for " client and downloads " etc. for

we don't have the latest version of boinc installed and there doesn't
seem to be any server problems listed and I have also read that we
should all be using it, it being 4.19.
My question is; can you install right over 4.13 without loosing work
in progress? If not, how do you save work in progress to transfer to
the new 4.19 after you uninstall 4.13?
Thanks.
uninstall old version
install new version (install to same dir if you didn't use the
default one)

Thanks, but I installed right ovrer the top of 4.13 and everything was
there as before. Work just like Claude J said it would. Thanks though.
