That's probably a serious under-statement. I've no idea about actual 
numbers  but according to my *ultra conservative* calculations, if 
10,000 subscribers have on avg 10 wu's to upload, that's 100,000 wu's 
to upload & 100,000 downloads to replace them.

According to www.setisynergy.com there are currently, 72,808 total
Boinc members. Not all actually crunch for Boinc/Seti but those are
the total number of people registered to crunch for Boinc/Seti.
Some have registered but continue to crunch Classic.
