problems with the server yet the new server's working well but it's

You are confusing multiple different devices:

1: There is their new fast database server;

2: there is the older slower database server that now acts just to keep a replica database as a backup and for offline accessing;

3: There is the NAS (Network Attached Storage) device that holds the active uploads and downloads files (WUs and WU results).

Their latest hardware problems are with device #3 as listed above.


They are certainly giving the hardware sponsors a very thorough test of their donated hardware!
