The OP would have been better off connecting to Einstein and doing
work and at least getting used to Boinc.

The OP may have wu's that he/she needs to upload for whatever reason & 
can't. I need to re-install winxp & will be writing off 130 wu's when 
I do it this afternoon. 

No way you can archive them and then copy them back into the new Boinc
directory after re-installation?
I think you can archive the directory and then do a new install and
then just copy back what you have archived right over the top. Unless
Boinc is causing the problem.
