no they are different.

so i will stay with seti classic as it seems more stable
but i cant understand WHY THERE IS NO AMD64 VERSION OF SETI

Because the AMD 64 chip which is the most prevelent is not running 64
bit in the scientific calculations only in other parts. It WOULD NOT
be any faster to make a 64 bit Boinc or Classic client for the current
AMD chip.
