I was talking about SETI clasic. I think it is a better alternative
to SetiQueue for one user on a home network.
And it's been down for nearly 24 hours now. I manage 23-24 WUs a day.
Yesterday 14 got through and so far today (United Kingdom) just the one
(out
of probably 20).
Recently the server status page said the server had been down for 70
minutes - now it says "dropping connections" - dropping 100% of
connections
it would appear.
Does anybody know what the problem is? I have about 2 days of cached WUs
left, but others may not be so lucky.

I'm curious as to whether the SETI project expects to be able to keep the
same level of support by the computing community that they had when they
started work on the BOINC platform when they (the project) can't keep their
servers online.
Yes they do!!! Right now part of the problem is they are trying to
maintain Classic while get Boinc off the ground at the SAME TIME! That
means that they are trying to do it WITHOUT a MAJOR expenditure in new
hardware that may not be needed when the switchover to Boinc is
mandatory.
