Are you assuming that the sponsors and those who donate time and
resources should ignore the obvious lack of talent at Berkeley?
I think that clearly we can ignore you for your very obvious lack of
all awareness.
Maybe in a few years time you can let us know that you have been
better educated and so can understand better to apologise.

Martin.. tisk, tisk.
Stop staring down that sharp pointed nose of an elitist Martin. That
just won't work for the brothers of Berkeley if you really want to
help them. Trust me on this.
Many peeps have questions as to what is " really " going on at
Berkeley and some of us think that they may have been foolish /
stupid in some of the decisions made recently. I myself imagine
powering being supplied by christmas tree light extension cords.
The fellows at Berkeley need to go down to a local pub and chum up
with a hard hat dude that knows electricity and get a few dedicated
circuits going. Come on. What's it take? Be a friend and buy him /her
an his / her buds a few brewski's, explain the situation. Berkeley
might be surprised at the results.
Ok I went to the Schools website and found this:
Major UC Berkeley websites to go offline for several hours of maintenance
this weekend
04 March 2005
BERKELEY The main UC Berkeley website (www.berkeley.edu) is scheduled to
go dark for about two hours Sunday morning. From 8 a.m. to approximately 10
a.m. Sunday, the site will be down while a defective motherboard on the
server is replaced.
In addition, from 8 p.m. Friday to around midnight, updates will be made to
systems that drive a number of web services. During this time, the following
services will be unavailable. They include:
a.. Main campus website Calendar of Events
b.. CalMail account creation and modifications
c.. CalNet ID upgrades
d.. CalNet Directory Updates
e.. UAS (User and Account Services) account creation and management

Wonder if this has anything to do with the power problems? If not could be
the Home Ec Department is sucking all the juice.
