This was just another snapshot of the number of units completed under
Classic. It was last done last April and alot of people are now coming
into Boinc and asking the same question all the time.
I was half expecting it to be shut down any time soon but don't think
that is the case, not sure which graph to look at on the cricket site
but they all look pretty choppy to me.
The process for the shutdown of Classic has begun already! When they
have finalized the process they said they will give us a 1 month
notice. They have NOT done the notice yet.
Maybe use the time to defrag the drive or even change it over to BOINC,
one thing this buisiness has taught me since starting in 1999, besides
how to keep the machines clean and running is patience.
Patience will help you thru the Boinc growing pains. I believe it will
be difficult for all the new people until they kind of figure out how
it works.
