With nothing else to do (even my main machine does nothing right now
expect for typing out this posting); I was just thinking: appearently
there is a major issue regarding connections again ( for 3 or 4 days
already now).
I recall the "Big Outtage" in 2000 - or wazzit 2001? - when some
idiots stole a piece of f/o cable from the premises of Berkeley. We
had to sit it out for 5 or more days, right? Even a truck sent out on
inspection got wrecked, I seem to remember. What's it this thime? Did
the idiots need additional cable? Or izzit after all Bill Gates again
who got numbed out because he never invented S&H in the first place or
Networked Computing in the 2nd? 
Or are it indeed the Aliens (as I suggested in 2000 or 2001 already)
who're trying to tell us: you're  looking in the wrong direction....
