From what I gather you shouldn't have to remove it completely. Just
make sure it isn't running at the same time as the BOINC version, or
it will take priority.

hmm i activated my boinc account because seti had stopped connecting to
the
server etc but now seti is back up and running, but boinc (which to be
honest i dont understand anything of what it is telling me) appears to be
idle asnd not doing very much at all....

yeah ive stuck seti (ive been running seti classic for about 6 months and
swapped it over to boinc on saturday) onto it but i basically get is these
messages
