woohoo finally my boinc seti thing is up and running....
does this mean i should uninstall seti classic?

Classic will be gone in about a month, I am keeping mine for the time
being. They could have more outages before the transfer is complete.
I am also crunching for Einstein, a nice safe backup, I hope.

cheers... will our "scores" be transferred to boinc or do we start again
at
zero... i noticed that on the boinc seti graphic my score (credit) is
zero
even though ive done nearly 600 units on the old one?

It is a new project and a new way of doing things and a new way of
getting credits sooo no mixing of the credits. HOWEVER a stats will be
listed on your account page showing your stats under Classic. IF
however you did NOT transfer your account over, you will not be able
to do that. You need to sign in using the info that was sent to you
based on the data that was in the old Classic databse. If it has
changed the ONLY person that can help is Dr. Anderson himself, his
email is on the main Seti page under personel, down near the bottom.
Whether he will or not, I cannot say.

yeah i can see my old stats on my account page (even though theyve lost the
last 10 in the transfer) so its not a prob... mind you i quite like the idea
of starting from zero again...
ive now completed 3 units but havent been able to send any of them back to
boinc...
cheers again anyway. its all becoming clearer..
