I have had 2 computers running Boinc for a couple of months.
I just added a 3rd over the weekend, sadly of course I only managed to get
some WU's in the last couple of days.
The computer name however is the same as my 2nd one, not the name that I
have in the identification in Network Neighborhood.
Any ideas why this would be and how to fix it - I couldn't see an option.
The Id is definitely correct in Network Neighborhood.
I am running Win98SE.

Just a thought - I did download the latest Boinc on the 2nd pc and then
install onto the new machine.  Does it configure the file that you download?
