What your machines do or don't do isn't much of a consolation prize to me
when I swap the connection to the other machine just to find out that SETI
is down again & I'm sitting on 60 crunched wu's that will reach the report
deadline before I can upload them.
What I was trying to explain was that all of your problems are my
problems too! I just have it multiplied severa ltimes. I had to learn
how to network computers, I can now do both wired and wireless
networks just fine. I also had to figure out how to keep my machines
running when Berkeley has workunit issues, I have joined other
projects and now I keep crunching thru the problems.
You can sit on your duff and complain or you can ask for help and
learn to do something about it.
I REALLY don't care that your machines aren't crunching, I was trying
to offer some insight into how someone else in the same situation is
handling the problems.
OH....I have well over 100 units to return and will do so as the
pipeline permits.
Maybe you have the cache set at too long an interval if you are so
close after just a few days.
