Because in Boinc it can take awhile before credits are granted. No
more one unit, one credit. In Boinc work MUST be worthwhile!!! Meaning
that it MUST be verified by at least 2 other crunchers crunching the
exact same unit and they must come up with similar numbers upon
completion. Looks like you are "in the ystem" and waiting ofr the
others.
