I don't recomend Maintenance Checkup Home Edition anymore. It's crashed 
my pc permanently.

Erk... We don't have to do anything like that on Linux!

Just uncompress whatever program wherever sensible, and run. To uninstall, 
just delete that directory tree. No shutdown and reboot required either.


(For any pedants: That is true enough for s@h. Yes there are the linux 
'package managers' and /etc and /var for configs.)

You don't need 1 - 3 in Windows either. They're just to set a 'never 
installed' baseline.
