Whats having broadband got to do with running Boinc? I have dialup and run
it with no problems.
Are you running it on one system, or multiple? With BOINC, each system
must have direct Internet access, which severely impacts those of us
running a farm via dialup by using SETI Queue. There is no equivalent
for BOINC, and can't be, the way BOINC works.
Actually that is only true "for now". A cache system is "in the
works".
The only heartbeat problem I ever had ended several updates ago.
That's good to know.
For the moment, having just reached 66,146 results in Classic, I'll
continue crunching with it. At nearly 44 results/day, I stand a
chance of reaching 75,000 before it's shut down.
