There is a password protection on screensaver and works
properly.

LOL.  Thats ironic timing.  :^)   So one of the new Windows updates fixed
the screensaver password 'bug'?

I just installed all the recent MS updates earlier and will have to
re-install Boinc to see if it works properly now.

BTW: Do you know, offhand, the QB# for the update that fixed the screensaver
password thing?  Read all the updates before installing them, but didn't see
anything about screensavers.  Hoping this fix wasn't for WinXP SP2.
Unfortunetly, I can't install SP2 as it will break software that I have to
use but has known issues with SP2.  Fortunetly, MS is continuing to provide
updates for SP1.
