| Subject: Fix for 'Can't Connect' for Some Mainland Europe Users |

There is a dispute between France Telecom and the U.S.'s Cogent.
Neither are passing each other's network traffic. The effect is that
since 14 April some European Seti users have been unable to connect to
Berkeley. The problem applies principally to France Telecom's Wanadoo
users (like me), though some Belgium and Dutch users are hit too.
The work-around is to access Berkeley via a proxy server. This one
works for me:
203.215.178.83 on port 8080
In my case this was easily implemented in the Seti Driver window.
