I've found that there are ranges of units which crunch faster than
other ranges.
Recently my main puter crunched a whole series in about 4:20, another
whole range in about 3:40 and another range in roughly 4:00, so it
prolly depends on which range you got for crunching. When I switched
from classic to Boinc, I've seen no real change in average crunching
time for every of my 4 machines so I reckon your Boinc got a series of
"fast units" for the time being :-)
I've found that BOINC units take _longer_ than classic units on all of my
PCs. In some cases the difference is marginal - in others about 25% longer.
I suspect that the way BOINC is configured has something to do with this.
The one configured as an NT service seems to have taken the biggeest hit.
