Next - Let me think...

*  I want to have streaming video of the antenna - just for grins.

Nice, but that could just be a 'webcam' upload to some site using already freely available software.

* Then I need to integrate the audio server and antenna server into one
client.  It's to hard to install now.

Sounds good.

* Although I can stream MP3 audio the compression kills just the sort of
signal we are looking for so I need to automatically save the audio in WAV
format so that it can be worked over with a fine tooth comb.

Or look at other compressions. Use lossless compression such as flac? Or just send out fewer bits as is done with s@h WUs.

* The WAV file must be archived to my web site and indexed so that anyone
can download it and work on it.  I know how to index WAV files into
submission already (grin), SML does that.

OK, good.

* I want to add a spectrum analyzer and waterfall display to the client.

There's audio apps that have this already coded.

Then anyone will have all the capabilities they need to do a search of there
own.

Lots of stuff still to do...

:)

Is this all general enough so that other receivers can be added?

One thought with the auto-controls is to have two or more antennas all look at the same point but from widespread physical locations so that Earth RFI can be immediately eliminated...

Good stuff,

Martin
