Hi !

New versions of the BOINC client have been released for most major
platforms
on 06 June 2005. Details of the Windows platform are below:

THIS IS A RECOMMENDED UPGRADE. New version is v 4.45 for Windows. Get
it
from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php

i have version 4.25 for windows... it isnt mentioned on the above link...
i am only running seti on the one computer...should i upgrade... ooh.?

If the version you have is working for you and does everything you
want it to do, then by all means stick with it. Mostly the newer
versions add new features that some people use. Like one of the
versions added a feature where you could stop getting work from a
project so you could just let it peter out instead of quitting with
workunits still active. This works very well when users have multiple
machines where the usual tweaks won't work.

cheers.. my version is working fine anyway... it was just that the shouted
words scared me.;-)
