Anyone have an opinion on an average SETI/BOINC WU? Is there such a
standard for comparison, like Classic does?

we got a 4x 64bit opteron server 2,2gh (i don't know the 2nd level
cache). normal 4.17 ar workunit is about 1:50 and average seticlassic
time is 1:40. this machine makes about 58 wu a day.
then we got a few 64bit opteron workstations 2,6 gh (6 single 3 double
cpu) and normal 4.17 ar is about 1:30 and the average time is about
1:10 to 1:20 - depending on how many sweet workunits these machines
will get.
operating systems: opteron server win 2003
opteron workstations winxp 32bit

we don't crunch boinc by now because we have a proxy and a firewall
and these machines can't get direct internet access. i hope there will
be a chance of getting these machines crunching for boinc.

maybe we get 500.000 before seti classic is closing....
