Hi Martin....

I am running windows98, and a pentium 100.. sorry my computer is so slow by
today standards...
I had the little window near the time clock openned up and when to close it
by clicking on exit.. killed the program... grrrrr.....more frustration...

If I am having this much trouble why aren't the authors more aware of the
problem.. I can't be the only one...

My knowledge of what is going on is so limited, I can't really help you help
me...

Sorry... But you're not giving away any clues that might let anyone help

What OS are you running? What version of Windows...?
Have you checked the settings on your firewall and anti-virus?

A wild random guess is that you're running windows and that the windows
firewall is blocking any internet access that Boinc attempts. You likely
also have a "3rd party" anti-virus & firewall that is also blocking
Boinc from working.

If so, then f/f George is by far a better help for you.
