I believe it. I went back to the 28th of June and found one result which had 
a mere 1.91 seconds, yielding a paltry 0.06 credit. At least BOINC is smart 
enough to toss the noise early.

I've only gotten work units like that when the project recognizes noise 
and aborts the wu early.

Most recent example of this was a 1:17.45, when seti decided to bail. I 
earned a whopping 0.14 credit for the effort.
