I can't help with your problem but I'm running all the same projects. I've been running SETI for quite a while, returned to climateprediction & Einstein 2 days ago & created an account for ProteinPredictor at the same time. Einstein has BOINC hung & is possibly what's using 100% of my CPU time to do it.

I too get Einstein causing Boinc to hang, and this is on a Linux system. 0% CPU is used, but then no work is being done by Boinc also.

Having unattached from Einstein and Boinc operates as expected.

Anyone else know about this bug and whether a fix is 'in the works'?
