Hi,
here is a link that might be helpful to you :
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_help_desk.php
This is the NEW SETI@home message board which will answer all your questions
about the transition, help, creating the new BOIC account, transferring the
old SETI Classic units over, etc.
If you are interested in SETI, you should do it soon, since no one knows,
how long the old classic will be still up and running.
ONE TIP: After installing BOINC and the new SETI@home project, you should
not use the seti@home screensaver as of now, it ,ay makes your system
unresponsive.
Hope this helps,
Tom

Hmmmm, this must be SETI@home Classic, huh ??? Maybe you need to look
into
the BOINC project before you loose all your 50000 units.
Once SETI@home Classic gets shut down for good, they'll do a LAST transfer
of the workunits.
Can you point me at a page which describes what will happen? Thanks.
