I use Norton System Works, Spybot, AdAware, MS's spyware utility, and
the spyware utility in Zone Alarm Pro.  They occasionally find
something, but have done a good job of keeping things pretty clean,
the clocks still run slow.

So perhaps it wasn't Boinc after all, but that still remains to be
