me for some reason. I'm not sure what happened to it.
It could be an interaction between BOINC and some other app on the
computer. Now that I think about it at one time I did have an app
that would argue with one of the earlier versions of BOINC.
Unfortunately, at least for now, I don't remember which one it was.
Now that we're talking about this, I do recall something similar
happening here. Completely forgot which app it was then, but if I'm
right I was still running Win-98 then. Switching to Win2K cured the
problem in my case...
I also seem to recall the clock in the system tray showed running
behind. After a reboot the original sys-clock appearently was still
running OK, so without the use of www the clocks showed OK too.
