I have not received a work unit now for at least 2 weeks. Is Seti down?

In case you are running on Boinc, could it be an older version? That

BOINC version 4.45, seti version 4.18. Seti should update
automatically.

I just went out and did a flush and reinstall (it didn't have any WUs)
on the one in the shop. It came up OK, did the CPU benchmarks,
requested WUs, connected, couldn't get any (insufficient) and is now
deferring communications for 5 hours. It sounds like they might be
behind on supplying WUs as well, or that could have been an error on
this end. Then again the one in my wife's office appears to be
running fine. That one is a 2.8 Gig XP Plus Athlon

The one next to me has 12 WUs waiting to go back, but it has only been
sending one a day. Their report deadline is the 24th so it appears
most of them will be lost. It takes about 2:30 (give or take) to do
that one and then the machine sets there the rest of the day. I'm
receiving *about* a 1000 or more error messages per day. The one next
to me tried to upload one of those finished WUs and it now says
"deferring communication with project for 13 hours, 30 minutes, and 33
seconds" in red.

All three log in fine. It's refusing to send to one, the second gets
one a day, while the third appears to be running normal.

one will not get any new units any longer; if you look into messages
you will see lines telling you to upgrade... This started about 3
weeks ago.

That is when I upgraded to 4.45 and have had problems since. OTOH
they've had problems on their end as well. What doesn't make sense is
one machine working fine, the second being throttled (from their end)
and who knows whey are aren't sending to the third.
