Database status
State Approximate #results
Ready to send 570,037
In progress 1,087,461
Waiting for validation 1,140,703
Transitioner backlog 0 hours
Earlier the 15.30 UTC snapshot showed the "Waiting for Validation" to be
at 1.133 million. This means the validation/credit scoring/credit
allocation/work unit deletion cycle is getting worse quite quickly.
I looked at the completed results waiting for validation for my small
farm and this is rising, with the cumulative figure increasing by up to
15 per day. When I looked yesterday, about mid afternoon, I had 251
waiting. I now have 264.
The planned 3 hour outrages, starting tomorrow, will need to be thorough
or the BOINC-SETI system may need a long outrage to flush out old units.
When this is done the database will be smaller and run quicker. It will
need to do this, and more, as Classic people switch to BOINC (as I did
just over a month ago).
