Subject: BOINC Manager messages tab - unusual reports

Since the SETI-BOINC servers were restarted about Tuesday night, most of
my PC farm has downloaded WUs and are crunching OK. The problem seems to
be returning completed results.

However, this state of affairs does not apply to one of my PCs, a laptop
running Win98 SE on and NT setup. The latter is the OS for my company. I
started this PC with the rest of the farm, and it has not downloaded any
WUs unlike the rest. Looking at the message tab, in BOINC Manager, I can
see the following reported in red text -

Can't resolve hostname [setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu] - host name not
found. Scheduler request failed http:// insert -113

There is similar red text messages for failed upload and download
attempts, for example -

URL http://setiboincdata.edu/sah/download_fanout/302/then work unit
     number

This then fails with the sale URL

     http://same address.edu/sah_cgi/file_upload_handler: error -113

Anyone care to comment on the meaning?

I assume this is connected with the current problems with the bandwidth
and handshaking for results upload/new WU downloads?

Oh for the record, the laptop was OK before the outrage, and nothing has
been changed in my preferences or BOINC Manager :-((
