Thank Roger.  I'm up and running now with 3 PIII computers on 24/7 and a slower system that I'm working on now which I turn on and off as required. Working well so far.  I check the machines twice a day to make sure they haven't crashed but that is all I need to do now so I can take it much easier.  I'll be happy when a more stable Win98SE client is available, in which case I shall just let them run and run.

Thanks for the advice on networks but even though the computers are close to each other I have no need for them the speak to each other. Seti@home is all they are really there for although I have put a small footprint game or two on them.  I do most of my work on the slowest of the machines which I turn off.

Cheers
Bill

I'd just like to know what I'm getting myself into ... that's all.
