I posted this because I don't think TV shows should make a false
use of science in this way.

In terms of natural systems this would imply that no natural system could be based on the Threshold fractal, since nature prefers high entropy and low energy thermal solutions, it is unlikely the crop circle construction pattern could be set in a natural system without the expenditure of a considerable amount of energy and a major amount of information transfer over a natural evolutionary process/ simple natural model.

Also it appears that as pretty as the crop circle pattern may be, it is probably an artificial human construction by someone unfamiliar with fractals ( a fake).

I'm sure this analysis is bad news to the producers of the TV show...
