Anyone notice that connections seem more difficult after restarting the
BOINC servers from this Wednesday outrage?
I have WU results still hanging around in BOINC Manager, and the
connection attempts (and backing off for next attempt) are long. New WU
download seems to be OK.
Previous outrages resulted in equilibrium within a few hours. This time
it looks like it will go on for the best part of a day?
Looks like the connections to upload results and download new WUs is
getting worse.
Is this just a thing from the UK, or are other areas affected?
Looking at the Bandwidth plots from Berkeley there seems to be no
problems, and my ISP (Demon) is a 1st tier supplier. So, the SETI web
site comment is not likely to apply to me(?) :-((
